What happens after you submit

  1. A person reads it. Not an autoresponder, and not a sales sequence.
  2. We check what is checkable for your market — company identity and operating history from public records, and licence status against the relevant state board where your state licenses the work.
  3. We confirm your coverage: the areas and the damage types you actually want enquiries for, and the ones you would rather not receive.
  4. You go on the register. When terms are settled and enquiries are moving in your market, you hear before the public page changes.

No payment details are requested at any point in this form, and submitting it creates no account and no contract.

Have these to hand

  • The states, metros, counties or zip codes you actually want work in.
  • Which of the damage types below you handle, and which you decline. Sewage, mould and reconstruction are all disciplines plenty of good firms do not take.
  • Your IICRC certifications, and whether they are held by named technicians or only by the company.
  • Your state licences — including any separate mould assessment or remediation licence, and your contractor licence if you rebuild. “Not required in my state” is a valid answer.

Is applying the same as being accepted?
No. Applying is not acceptance. There is no approval process to pass, because the matching programme is still being built and no partner terms exist to be accepted into. What this form does is record your company, your service area and the damage types you work in, so that you hear from us before the public page changes.
Is anything verified by submitting this form?
Nothing. Everything you enter here is what you have told us, unverified. Nothing on this site presents an applicant as certified, licensed, insured or vetted on the strength of a form. What we check, and what we cannot, is set out in how we vet.
Does it cost anything?
No. Nothing is charged, no payment details are requested at any point in this form, and submitting it creates no account and no contract. Commercial terms have not been decided, so there is nothing to buy.
Can being listed be bought?
No. Being listed is never sold, and paying us would not change what any guide, service page or tool says. Editorial and commercial are separate and that separation is published in our editorial policy.
What if my state does not license what I do?
Say so. Licensing differs sharply by state and by discipline — several states licence mould assessment and remediation separately and a few prohibit one firm from doing both, while reconstruction usually needs a contractor licence of its own. "Not required in my state" is a complete and acceptable answer where it is true.
